Through our Nana Abantwana programme we support 212 ECD centres to ensure standardized, quality education through capacity building, nutrition programmes, mentorship and donation of goods.

Food Security

 We strive to empower farmers with agri-technology, professional equipment and support, as well as through the introduction of new markets and production initiatives. 

Children & Youth

Supporting children and youth through initiatives that promote quality education, entrepreneurship, employment, mental health, and exposure to STEM fields of study.

Our Projects

What We Do

Early Childhood Development

Initiatives through our Nana Abantwana programme include

  • training, support and mentorship of ECD practitioners
  • building upon toy and book libraries within each centre
  • coordinating donations of toys, books, food and furniture
  • raising awareness and advocating the provision of quality ECD services in each village (Community of Practice)
Food
Security

Initiatives include

  • offering support and training for farmers in rural communities
  • the supply of seedlings and soil supplements
  • empowerment of farmers with agri-technology, professional equipment and support
  • encouraging the community to grow vegetables for their own use or as commercial farmers
Children & Youth

Initiatives include

  • strengthen quality education in rural schools
  • linking unemployed youth from rural communities with employers through government programmes
  • developing entrepreneurship programmes for youth
  • mental health service implementing a full referral system specifically for youth
  • together with STEMpower we are establishing STEM centers within South Africa
